Aaah the lovely red room. Not to be confused with red rum.J Ok, tasteless joke out of the way! You know, I have not seen too many red rooms in person, and I do not know why! Look at these beauties! Red is beautiful and vibrant, and appears to make any home look fab. Red seems to amp up the energy and vibrancy of a room, if you ask me. I think everyone needs a red room in their home, at one point in life, at the very least. Enjoy!

Gold. It is simply a magnificent, glamorous and elegant hue for your home! I love gold in the home. Plus it’s a marvelous color with my skin. :-) The kings and queens were on to it long ago. Course, then things were dipped in gold, if not solid, but now you can get gold paint and make you space look dashing. If you want to add a little glamor and fun to your home, gold will most definitely get you there. As much as I love a fun home, you don’t have to go overboard and paint your walls gold. Believe it or not, I am a firm believer that simple is sexy. A touch of gold is sometimes all a room needs. Something to ponder. :-)

A Touch of Vintage for the Office

I don’t know about you, but the people I know, including myself, spend a fair bit of time at our desks. If you’re going to spend some time at your desk, you should make it lovely. It’s easy to have any old desk and chair, but really it should be a place you enjoy spending time. Do it up so you love it. Just a touch of decorating will make it look fab. Nothing too extravagant. Simple is sexy. These vintage looking desks are definitely a place where I would love to spend my time! I love the look of mixing a vintage style desk with a touch of technology. Very sharp!

Decorating with Velvety Goodness

Is it just me, or do you want to touch that velvet furniture too? If I had a piece of velvet furniture in my place, I would lay on it and watch movies all day (ordering takeout, of course). Sign me up. I think I want to go velvet furniture shopping. When the time comes to splurge on a piece of furniture, it will most definitely be velvet. No doubt about that.
