Is it just me, or do you want to touch that velvet furniture too? If I had a piece of velvet furniture in my place, I would lay on it and watch movies all day (ordering takeout, of course). Sign me up. I think I want to go velvet furniture shopping. When the time comes to splurge on a piece of furniture, it will most definitely be velvet. No doubt about that.

Not to take the spotlight off of one of the world’s most gorgeous beds, but have you ever seen a better chandelier?
I want that wallpaper. And the zebra stool. All velvet furniture goes without saying as far as furniture I dream about all day!!
What do you think of velvet furniture?
Hey Britt, these rooms are "yummy"! I love the plushness of the top photo, deliciously soft and comfy looking. Also the wall in photo #7 is really intriguing--it's a good compliment to the velvety sofa. I really like the small scale of the framed art on the wall also, it makes you want to walk right up to it and look closer. I think it's unusual that the placement is not smack in the middle of the wall. I don't think it would work as well if it was. I like the touch of 'zebra' which gives the overall subdued space a bit of 'pizzazz'. I do like the velvet furniture!
ReplyDeleteHi Britt - I adore velvet lately. The pink velvet headboard is gorgeous (and so is the chandi!). I also love the lines of the deep purple sofa. I do wonder how well velvet wears - I wouldn't want to end up with seat cushions that look old after two months...
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
No, it's not just you. It's also me. The velvet furnitures are beautiful, indeed! I especially love the headboards. One thing I like about velvet fabric is the texture. It's soft and comfortable. It adds a punch of shine in the room. It's glamorous!
ReplyDeleteHi Britt! Si nice to meet you and your gorgous blog! Loved this post in particular, I'm mad about all things velvet and "glammy". Great images and tons of inspiration around here, you got me with that zebra bath girl!. Already a follower. :) XoXo
