Kitchens: For the Bold, Bright and Beautiful

For me, kitchens are a very important part of the home. These days, they are a place where everyone does anything from eating, spending time with friends, entertaining, doing homework and even sometimes cooking! Whatever you do, it’s important to make it look good. I have to be pretty selective with most of the colors in my home since I have two white cats, but when it comes to the kitchen, I can have more fun with the colors. That said, changing colors in the kitchen are more expensive than other rooms. Whatever you do, make sure the kitchen is a place you really enjoy spending time. Either way, feast your eyes and enjoy!

Even Rumpelstiltskin Would Be Pleased With This Gold Décor

Gold. It is simply a magnificent, glamorous and elegant hue for your home! I love gold in the home. Plus it’s a marvelous color with my skin. :-) The kings and queens were on to it long ago. Course, then things were dipped in gold, if not solid, but now you can get gold paint and make you space look dashing. If you want to add a little glamor and fun to your home, gold will most definitely get you there. As much as I love a fun home, you don’t have to go overboard and paint your walls gold. Believe it or not, I am a firm believer that simple is sexy. A touch of gold is sometimes all a room needs. Something to ponder. :-)

Irresistible Vintage Style Bathrooms

I have to say, I love a vintage looking bathroom. Don’t know what it is, but I’ve had this love affair ever since my memory kicked in. And if I had tubs like those, I would be taking a bubble bath everyday. My darling will most definitely have to expect a vintage style bathroom when we invest in our own home.
